Meet Our President
Bill Senkel, President
Contact BillMr. Senkel's broad experience spans 11 years in real estate, homebuilding and finance. He most recently served as President of Land Specialties, a large-scale real estate development company, where he was responsible for managing numerous residential communities as well as a diverse real estate portfolio. Prior to this, Mr. Senkel was a partner with a Dallas-based real estate development and finance company with assets in excess of $100 million. In this role, he worked with numerous regional and national home builders to structure various lot warehousing and option financing transactions. His experience also includes working with two Fortune 500 home builders, including serving as VP of Land for Pulte Homes in Dallas. Mr. Senkel has overseen every aspect of Real Estate development including Land Acquisition, Land Disposition, Land Development, Entailment, Construction, Planning and Finance. He holds a BA in Education and MBA in Marketing from the University of Nebraska.
Lynn James, Vice President
Contact LynnLynn James has over 30 years of diversified experience in the areas of real estate, finance, leadership and strategy. As Vice President at Land Commerce, Mr. James is leading the company’s operations in Houston, Texas. In his three decades of experience, he has successfully led several homebuilding and land development corporations through complex start-up phases, turnaround situations and rapid growth cycles. Most recently he served as Owner/Broker of Logan Residential L.L.C. where he listed and sold distressed assets and repositioned failing residential projects to adapt to current market demands. Prior to this, Mr. James was leading several national and regional homebuilding companies as Division or Regional President in six states and ten major real estate markets. Mr. James has been known to provide practical and creative solutions to complex problems; leveraging his years of experience in all facets of business. Throughout his career he has been known for achieving results through exhaustive due diligence and tenacity. His residential real estate experience spans across various disciplines including financial analysis, land acquisition, land development, strategic planning, project management, cost control, sales, marketing, financial planning, and personnel development.
